Hamanishi has created an image often used in prints of Japanese Temples, the stepping stone walkway, leading into the distance. Here, however, a path of stones leads back towards an unseen destination, surrounded by organic shapes of green. In the foreground a delicately lacquered, geometric shape sets off this calm and subtle image.
