Fujio Yoshida Biography

Fujio Yoshida (1887-1987), was perhaps the first internationally recognized female Japanese artist, and she is part of the famous Yoshida family artistic dynasty: daughter of painter Kasaburo Yoshida, wife of Hiroshi Yoshida, mother of Toshi and Hodaka Yoshida, and the grandmother of an array of current artists.  She is perhaps most famous for her abstract floral prints, of which the current offerings are a prime example.
